Hynes is starting to drive me nuts with these line changes every damn game. Then he's sitting around female doging about the team being inconsistent. Gee, I wonder why they're having problems finding chemistry and consistency? And what's with the blake speers obsession? The kid needs more time, enough already. Send him to the OHL already and keep boucher in the lineup.. DAMN!

I'd say. The team is better then they have been but with so many new faces in the lineup, Hynes is still shuffling up the lines a bit to find some magic. Tonight, you guys will see possibly our best trio play together in Hall-Henrique-Palmieri. Hopefully that gets something going here 5v5 but make no mistake about it, Cory is a rock in net! We may only need 2 or 3 goals a night for the Ws to start trickling in.

175 minutes since their last even strength goal, Corey has been amazing. Everything points to a 2-1 game tonight which means they final will probably be 6-4.

that's what happened last year in NJ it was like 7-5.. i'm not expecting that.. our PK has been great so far.. if your 5v5 is lacking i like our chances.. maybe parise will get one we have 12 guys with a goal and he's not one of them

I didn't think that Boucher played that bad to be scratched tonight. The thing with him though is that he needs to shoot more. I just hope bouncing him in and out of the lineup doesn't mess with his confidence.

Hynes is gonna kill boucher's confidence. The guy is so obsessed with speed that he's forgetting ya gotta put the puck in the net to win. Boucher is a shooter and a goal scorer. He should be on a line with cammy and zajac

I was at that game last year and I'm going tonight. Hoping for a repeat and not a 1-0 loss.

Boucher is there because of his shot and he blew two great chances in Boston, guess this is the punishment. That being said, I'm not sure what Kalinin is going to bring to improve the team offense.

Odds makers look at the stats. Minny has lost 3 straight in NJ and most have been relatively high scoring considering the teams playing. I have a feeling we will see a bit of an offensive outburst tonight.

Not 1 NJ game has gone over 5 yet this season. If the odds makers were looking at the stats and the scores of the past few times minny has played in NJ it would probably be 5.5

I'm still on board with Elias-Zacha.

"Let the kids play!!" hows that working out for us/them?
"It's a rebuild!!" Ok, we have how many kids in the lineup?? we're clearly rebuilding, even if another kid is scratched.

It's adding a guy of Elias' caliber, smarts, locker room presence, skill, etc.. a guy that DOES make others around him better, has been his whole career, at the expense of ONE kid that could probably be just fine in the A or Juniors for a year (Speers).

Zacha (our most important player) and the handful of other young players will benefit from Elias. That alone is reason to have him back.

No doubt I wouldn't mind having patty back for one last season. However, do we even know what his status is? Things have been quiet on the patty front for about a month now.

Last thing I saw was in mid-September, he was skating but unhappy with his progress. I'd love to see him get a proper send off, but I've got a feeling he is going to hang them up.
